Child Hearing Services
Crossroads Speech & Hearing, Inc. is able to provide audiological assessment
and services for the pediatric population. Our offices are equipped with a sound booth and speakers in order to
provide various methods of hearing testing specifically for the very young.
Test methods include:
- Standard comprehensive audiologic evaluation
- Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA)
- Behavioral Observation Audiometry (BOA)
- Sound Field Testing
- Play Audiometry
- Tympanometry
- Acoustic Reflex Testing
Adult Audiology Services
Hearing loss can occur at any age. At Crossroads Speech and Hearing, Inc.,
our Masters and doctors of audiology provide comprehensive testing to determine the type and degree of hearing loss present.
Based on the hearing test results, the audiologist will make recommendations and/or referrals. If a hearing aid
is recommended, the audiologist will work with the client to select the appropriate form of amplification. The audiologists at
Crossroads Speech & Hearing pride themselves in educating the consumer about the various types of hearing aids on the market as
well as what may work best with their particular hearing loss.
